Sanum (Sam) Patel is a patent attorney and Licensing Executive with experience in managing patent portfolios, negotiating licensing agreements, and supporting intellectual property litigation. He has facilitated licensing deals totaling eight-figures with leading technology companies across various industries.

Previously, Sam served as the primary Licensing Executive for a patent portfolio managed by Prince Lobel & Tye LLP, where he oversaw licensing strategies and contributed to patent commercialization efforts. He also gained experience supporting litigation, including trial preparation and settlement negotiations. At ArentFox Schiff LLP, Sam worked on patent prosecution, intellectual property litigation, and drafting agreements across a range of technical areas, including chemical and life sciences.

 

Sam earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. He is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the New York State Bar.
